Wild About Greens, talk, demo and tasting. It is spun off of Nava Atlas's book of the same title. In it, she serves up a collection of tasty recipes, plus techniques and tips designed to help everyone make more use of ultra-healthy leafy greens. In her talk, she will inspire you to go beyond the usual garlic-and-olive-oil saute and explore a wide array of other ways to use greens creatively. This demo and tasting will include an easy and delicious dip packed with green goodness, a delectable raw kale salad and a refreshing green smoothie. Plus, we'll learn how to take the intimidation out of collard greens and become familiar with a few other greens you might be interested in trying. $5.00 materials fee payable at the door.
