Diálogos Duo

"Brazilian Panorama"

Recognized as the premiere U.S.-based clarinet-guitar duo featuring contemporary Brazilian music, French-born clarinet virtuoso Louis Arques and master guitarist-composer Richard Boukas present a rich mixture of their original repertoire and interpretations of classic Brazilian popular forms by composers including Jobim, Nascimento, Pixinguinha, Gnattali and Guinga. Genres include samba, bossa nova, choro, baião, maracatu, frevo and valsa. The duo will perform selections from their debut CD, “Homages to Brazilian Masters”.

Doors open at 7:00 PM. A $10 donation is requested at the door in support of The Friends of the Nyack Library who make this series possible.
