Join us for a discussion of seed sowing and starting techniques.  Share your experiences with your favorite varieties, ask questions, and, if you’d like, bring seeds to share. Learn more about how the new Nyack Seed Exchange works. Go home with some seeds to get started!

Our Piermont neighbor Joan Gussow is known as one of the founders of the local, sustainable, organic food movement.  She is the author of The Feeding Web, This Organic Life, and Growing, Older: A Chronicle of Death, Life, and Vegetables, and is Mary Swartz Rose Professor Emerita and former chair of the Columbia University Teachers College Department of Nutrition Education.
